- That is correct in general. If the question is specific to a particular
- compiler i.e. doesn't make sense for other compilers then you need
- a platform/system specific newsgroup. comp.lang.c is about the C language,
- i.e. that which can run on any C compiler/platform.

- The Unix kernel is written (mostly) in C. That does not make Unix system
- questions relevant to comp.lang.c. The question question in this case
- was about Doors and libraries, not about the C language itself. c.l.c
- is not a dustbin for questions about every application that happens to be
- writen in C, or API that can be called from a C program.
